Czech Republic forward Michal Psurny returns for his third season in Phoenix colours, having helped Phoenix to the Championship; becoming the league’s top points scorer with 45 goals and 54 assists for an amazing 99 points. His scoring earned him a place on the English Premier League’s First All-Star Team. Michal’s total for his two seasons at the Dome is impressive; played 104 games, 88 goals and 100 assists.

Conference Tournament moves to Ice Sheffield PDF Print E-mail

EIHA logo The long-running and prestigious EIHA Conference Tournament will have a new venue for 2015 in its 21st year, with the competition moving to Ice Sheffield.

The four-day event, which takes place from Friday 1st to Monday 4th May 2015, brings together nearly 400 players from across the country at all age groups.

As last year, the event will start with the England U19s against Scotland U19s curtain raiser on the Friday, before hundreds of players compete at U11, U13, U15 and U17 levels.

Telford Tigers logo Next month’s Tigers Hockey Camp will feature a sneak preview of the 2014/15 EPL squad, as preparations get underway for the upcoming campaign.

The camp, which takes place from August 18th-22nd at Telford Ice Rink, marks the unofficial start of a four-week pre-season programme.

Tigers players Ricky Plant, Joe Miller, Dan Scott, Nathan Salem Thomas Murdy and Rupert Quiney will be part of the coaching team.

GB International Jonathan Weaver will also join the line-up, alongside Tim Branham from Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL and Salt Lake City’s Jeff Carr.

Team GB Logo Tickets for Great Britain's exciting clashes with Poland at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham and Coventry's Skydome next April will go on sale tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10am.

The match at the NIC takes place on Thursday 9th April 2015 (7:30pm), while the two sides will also meet a day later in the Skydome in Coventry on Friday 10th April 2015 (7:30pm).

Guildford Flames logo Andrew Hemmings has re-signed with the Guildford Flames ice hockey club. The 5’10”, 185lb forward iced 61 games last season where he posted 6 goals and 8 assists in his 3rd full time term since returning to the club halfway through 2010-2011 from Basingstoke Bison. That season he immediately helped the Spectrum outfit to a playoff championship before tacking on a pair of League and Cup “double” captures in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. The 25 year old skater has made 354 Flames starts, yielding 47 goals, 124 points and 115 penalty minutes. Across another 181 outings in rival uniforms, the Guildford native has 31 goals and 42 assists.

Slough Jets logo As the Slough Jets prepared to say their goodbyes a packed Hangar turned out to honour the Berkshire club. Players, and indeed supporters, came from around the corner and around the world to see one more Jets game as the Legends took to the ice.

From 2pm the fans rolled into Absolutely Ice ahead of the day’s festivities starting. The rink provided a barbecue and beer tent to help get the party flowing with the café catering to the younger members of the day’s supporters in attendance.

Telford Tigers logo The Tigers cricket day is on course to be the most successful yet, after a record number of teams signed up for this weekend’s competition

Players and fans will descend on St Georges Cricket Club in Telford on Sunday, with 14 out of a maximum 16 squads already set to take part.

The event, a yearly fixture in the Tigers club calendar, has been hailed as a great example of the partnership between the Tigers and the Tigers Supporters Club.

All proceeds from the day will go towards developing junior ice hockey in Telford.

GB International Jonathan Weaver to join Tigers Ice Hockey Camp PDF Print E-mail

Telford Tigers logo Great Britain defensive legend Jonathan Weaver will be making an appearance at the first ever Tigers Hockey Camp next month.

Weaver, who has signed a deal to play for the Tigers in the EPL next season, played in 72 World Championship games for Great Britain.

The Tigers Hockey Camp, which takes places at Telford Ice Rink from August 18th – 22nd, will bring together coaches from the ECHL, WSHL and EPL.

And with Weaver agreeing to show off his skills, Tigers Head Coach Tom Watkins believes the students will benefit hugely.
