Tigers coach Tom Watkins hailed his side’s battling qualities after a dramatic 3-2 play-off win over Guildford Flames on Wednesday night.
Victory means the Tigers remain in contention to finish in the top two of their group – and secure a place at next month’s finals tournament.
Danny Rose was the man who sealed two points for Telford with a powerful strike in overtime, after proceedings finished all-square at full time.

Great Britain U18s completed their pre-tournament camp with a second successive game against the U18 Varsity team of Okanagan Europe.
Wednesday’s game in Bratislava saw GB start with Angus Laing in net, with Lewis Davies getting ice for the third period – meaning all three travelling goalies have played game time before the tournament.

Tigers captain Jason Silverthorn isn’t surprised by the form shown by tomorrow night’s opponents Guildford Flames in this season’s English Premier League play-offs.
Telford make the trip south for their return encounter with the Flames on Wednesday, following last week’s 3-0 loss in Shropshire.
The EPL champions remain in contention for a top-two spot in their group, however, following weekend wins over Peterborough and Sheffield.

Great Britain Under-18s were beaten 5-4 by OHA Europe in St Polten, Austria in the first of two games as part of their World Championship preparations.
GB are currently in the middle of a training camp ahead of the World Championship Division 2 Group A, which starts in Korea this weekend.
Finlay Ulrick, Mac Howlett, Harry Gulliver and Tyler Cooper scored GB's goals against OHA Europe.

GB UNDER-18S: Squad ready for Slovakia and Austria training camp

Great Britain Under-18s have arrived at their training camp in Slovakia and Austria ahead of the World Championship Division 2 Group A, which starts at the weekend.
GB will play two matches in two days, starting with tonight’s game against OHA Europe in St Polten, Austria before the two sides meet in Bratislava tomorrow.
Britain will then move onto the World Championship and face hosts Korea, along with Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania and Romania, in the tournament from 1st to 8th April 2017.
