Great Britain Under-18s were beaten 6-5 after penalty shots by Estonia Under-18s, despite a dramatic late equaliser from Liam Kirk with seven seconds remaining in the third period.
GB trailed 5-3 at the second intermission but Kirk scored twice to give them at least a point, before the penalty-shot heartbreak.

GB Women beaten 5-4 by Netherlands Women

Great Britain Women were beaten 5-4 by Netherlands in their opening game at the World Championship Division 2 Group A in Korea.
GB fought back from 3-1 down to tie the game at 3-3 in the second period in the Kwandong Hockey Centre, but ultimately left empty-handed.
Julie Zwarthoed put Netherlands ahead after only 31 seconds for the only goal of the first period.

Great Britain Women have named their captaincy team for the World Championship Division 2 Group A, which gets under way in Gangneung tomorrow.
Leanne Ganney will captain the side with the assistants being Saffron Allen, Lauren Summers and Katie Henry.

Telford Tigers remain in charge of their own play-off destiny, despite losing 5-2 to Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday night.
Defeat means Telford must take a point from Sunday’s visit of Sheffield Steeldogs to qualify for next week’s play-off finals.
A breathless encounter at Bretton Road saw the Tigers take control in the middle session, before a rash of goals in the final 20 minutes.
Clarkson to retire at end of season

Telford Tigers forward Doug Clarkson will retire from ice hockey at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has scored 83 points so far this year, including 50 goals in English Premier League matches.
Standing at 6ft, 5ins, Clarkson has also become a favourite with Tigers fans for his physical playing style.
