Tigers skipper Jason Silverthorn wants his men to ignore the melting-pot atmosphere in Coventry during their play-off semi-final against Basingstoke on Saturday.
Over 3,000 fans are expected at the Skydome Arena for this year’s play-off finals tournament, following a quarter-final campaign that saw the Tigers finish second in Group A.

Telford Tigers forward Doug Clarkson will retire from ice hockey at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has scored 83 points so far this year, including 50 goals in English Premier League matches.
Standing at 6ft, 5ins, Clarkson has also become a favourite with Tigers fans for his physical playing style.

Tigers captain Jason Silverthorn isn’t surprised by the form shown by tomorrow night’s opponents Guildford Flames in this season’s English Premier League play-offs.
Telford make the trip south for their return encounter with the Flames on Wednesday, following last week’s 3-0 loss in Shropshire.
The EPL champions remain in contention for a top-two spot in their group, however, following weekend wins over Peterborough and Sheffield.

Tigers coach Tom Watkins wants a flying start against Peterborough in the play-offs tomorrow night, after giving his men an extra day off following Wednesday’s win over Guildford.
A grueling 3-2 success in Surrey saw the EPL champions return to Telford at 3am on Thursday morning, due to an 8pm face-off time and a string of tailbacks and diversions on the M40.

Tigers forward Matty Davies has lit the blue touch paper on a “do or die” play-off clash with Peterborough Phantoms at Telford Ice Rink tonight.
The EPL champions, who lost to Guildford on Wednesday, must beat the Phantoms to keep control of their own destiny in the fight for a top-two group spot.
The winner of each four-team group – and runner-up – will progress to the play-off finals tournament in Coventry next month.
