Building for the Swindon Wildcats 2016-17 season got underway on Thursday evening [March 3, 2016] with the first two names being added to the clubs roster.
Current player-coach Aaron Nell who is sponsored by Aerial Imaging Solutions and Swedish import Jonas Höög who is sponsored by Kam's Motor Clinic, have both agreed new one-year deals to keep them in Wiltshire for another season, which will come as great news to Wildcats fans.

Swindon Wildcats netminder Stevie Lyle has been handed his latest call-up to the full GB side after the experienced Welshman was added to the roster who will take part in the sides Pre-Olympic Qualifiers.
He is joined by Nottingham Panthers defenceman Sam Oakford, Belfast Giants forward Mark Garside and Coventry Blaze forward Ross Venus, all of whom are replacing netminder Stephen Murphy, defenceman Jonathan Weaver and forwards Matt Haywood and Robert Farmer.

Corvus Travel sponsored Tomasz Malasinski is set to return to International duty this month, after being selected as part of a 34-man training camp, some of whom will battle it out for selection to the Polish national team to take part in Olympic Qualification [between February 11 and February 14, 2016] as well as Aprils World Championships Division 1A campaign.

Community Development Officer and Wildcats forward Sam Bullas, who is sponsored by MidexPRO has thanked fans for the donations made during Saturday evenings game against the Guildford Flames as the programme continue to work towards raising the £2500 needed to purchase Rink Dividers.
"We're really grateful to every single person who made a donation on Saturday evening," he said after the game.
