The Wildcats are looking for their second home victory of the season following home success against Manchester last weekend. The Telford game this weekend promises to bring more high quality ice hockey to the Link Centre.

Telford themselves have started the season well, and are one of only 3 teams yet to be beaten in the 16-17 EPL. Telford impressed with opening weekend victories against Basingstoke (4-1) and Manchester (4-1) before wins last weekend coming against Guildford (6-2) and Sheffield (5-4).

The game promises to be doubly exciting with Max Birbraer facing his former employers for the first time since his summer switch from the Shropshire side. Former Wildcat forward Corey McEwen also returns to face the Cats for the first time this season.

Floyd Taylor is due to remain on the sidelines as he recovers from an injury sustained in pre-season. Whilst Ben Davies is set to make his final home appearance before his 4 week contract comes to an end and he pursues his career in North America. The Tigers meanwhile will head into the contest without the services of the influential Jonathan Weaver and Adam Taylor.

Tigers Roster: Netminders - Ondrej Raszka and Sam Gospel. Defence - Corey Goodison, Adam Jones, Marcus Maynard, Daniel Rose, Daniel Scott, Sam Zajac. Forwards - Luke Brittle, Doug Clarkson, Matthew Davies, Macaulay Heywood, Phill Hill, Milan Kolena, Corey McEwen, Joe Miller, Rick Plant, Michal Satek, Jason Silverthorn and Warren Tait.

Tickets for the game are still available online as well as in Wildcat Sports.

Don't forget to get involved on game day by purchasing a 50/50 ticket, and a ticket for your chance to win a shirt off the players back. We're also delighted to be supporting The Great Western Hospital's Brighter Future Radiotherapy Appeal as our first charity night of the season, so make sure you make a donation no matter how big or small to such a great cause.
