A graduate of the Nottingham set up, the 23-year old fast became a fans favourite with a reputation for getting stuck in when needed, but initially established himself as a talent in his first season with the club when he became a gold medal winner at the World Junior Championships with the GB U20s side.

"With the core of last year's team that we've got and the new addition that Ryan [Aldridge] has made, we should be able to continue with the type of form that we ended last season with."

Indeed, with the player on the verge of breaking the 250 Wildcats appearance mark this campaign, Sam is also keen to help the side bring home some long awaited glory and he continued: "I feel like the team has unfinished business after the end of last season and the team so far looks great.

"We were robbed of bringing home some silverware last year and this season will be all about continuing to improve and it's about time we brought some trophies back to Wiltshire."

The signing brings the clubs 2014-15 EPIHL roster up to eleven players with seven forwards included in the ranks so far.

"Sam is another player that I wanted to bring back and he was very keen to remain with the club," said head coach Ryan Aldridge after the players contract was agreed. "He's dynamic player, his passing range is excellent and he's got the physicality to compete on the ice.

"I'm very pleased with how the spine of the squad is coming together, we're looking very strong and experienced but also have youth on our side.

"People can see the calibre of the player that we're bringing in, they've all got experience of this division and know what it's like to play 50 games plus in a season."

Sam Bullas' 2013-14 season stats: Pld - 53 | G - 10 | A - 20 | Pts - 30
