Swindon Wildcats logo The Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce the signing of Polish import Tomasz Malasinski. The forward comes into the 'Cats side having played his entire career in his native country, including representing Poland at U18, U20 and Senior World Cup levels.

Malasinski will come off the back of a positive season last year, having registered 42 points in 30 games for KTH Krynica and GKS Tychy respectively. The 27 year old also brings vital playoff experience, having played post-season hockey over the last four seasons in the top flight Ekstraklasa Polish league.

Upon breaking the news, Wildcats coach Ryan Aldridge stated:

"Tomasz is a solid & strong all round player who can score goals. He is signing after winning a gold medal at the World Championships this summer, having played in the same group as GB and scored 4 goals in 5 games. He plays hard in both ends of the rink and will be a huge addition to our club."

The signing of Tomasz Malasinski means the Swindon Wildcats now have three of their four import positions filled and just one more left ahead of the new season. For all the latest news and information, be sure to check swindonwildcats.com
