Swindon Wildcats logo The Swindon Wildcats can today confirm that after much deliberation, Swedish import Jonas Hoog will not be returning for the 2014/15 season.

Despite being with the club over the past four years, the Wildcats have now turned their attention to a replacement import for the upcoming EPL campaign.

Since arriving in 2011 Hoog had experienced back-to-back improved seasons with the 'Cats, however with the new season quickly approaching, Swindon have been left to fill their import position.

Swindonwildcats.com caught up with Wildcats coach Ryan Aldridge, who had this to say on the import's departure:

"We would like to thank Jonas for all he has done for us in his time in Swindon.

He has been outstanding for us and will be missed by all at the club. He has made lots of fans and friends here ,but at this point in the summer with no contact, we have to move on."

"We wish him all the best for the coming season."

The club will be releasing breaking news of a new signing on Friday, so be sure to keep your attention for it and all other news at swindonwildcats.com.
