Two Slough Jets selected for international duty

Slough Jets logo The Slough Jets are proud to announce that their Captain, Mindy Kieras and defenceman Andrius Kaminskas have been selected to represent Lithuania this year.

For Kieras this will be a 15th year in senior hockey. This is in addition to 6 years representing his country at both Under 18 and Under 20 levels while for Kaminskas this will be his 12 year at senior level after 5 years at under 18 and under 20.

Between the two players they have four gold medals and two silver medals with Kaminskas also picking up the most penalised player award at the 2008/09 World Championships.

The players will link up with their national team in Elektrenai on April 2nd ready to participate in the IIHF IB World Championship in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Director of Operations Steve English said; “We are extremely proud of our two selected players and we wish them all the best playing for their country in their country. We will be sure to be keeping a close eye on their results”.
