The Beth Davis Festival of Hockey

User Rating:  / 0

On Tuesday 22nd April the Coventry Blaze Junior Ice Hockey Club will be holding the 'Beth Davis Festival of Hockey' at the Skydome, Coventry. Every team that plays out of Coventry will be there plus some members from Beth's team in Hull. There will be eight junior teams from under 10s up to under 18s plus the Coventry Chaos, Coventry Chargers, Coventry Phoenix Ladies and the Cassidy Coventry Blaze ENL team on the ice. Neal Martin will be there making his very last appearance at the Skydome before leaving for his new club, he will be joined on the ice by Elite League 'Player of the Year' Adam Calder and former Blaze favourite, now ENL Blaze Head Coach, Joel Poirier. It is hoped that more Senior Blaze players will confirm their attendance in the next few days. The event will start at 6.30pm with the younger teams and go on until 11.30pm with the older players. All players attending will pay an entrance fee. Admission for spectators will be free but there will be raffles and donation buckets out to raise additional funds for Beth and her family.

There will also be a photograph taken during the evening of all the participating players on the ice at the same time. It is thought that this will be the biggest ever gathering of Ice Hockey players from one town on the ice at one time in the UK.

If you live in the area then please come along and support this event. If you can't make it but would wish to support Beth then donations made out to Bethany Davis can be sent c/o Coventry Blaze Junior Ice Hockey Club, The Skydome, Croft Road, Coventry, CV1 3AZ

Please feel free to reproduce this PR wherever you think it might be appropriate.
