This coming Saturday 26th November, the Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning will welcome the Hull Pirates to town (7pm face off).
The Pirates have surprised many so far this season, by battling with the best and sitting within the top three. Compared to last season where the team fought to stay off the bottom of the table, they have come on leaps and bounds with regards to their strength and skill within. Only last weekend, the Pirates had their first home loss of the season to league leaders, the Telford Tigers.

Przemy Odrobny and Bobby Chamberlain were the heroes as Smith Recycling MK Lightning bagged a hard earned penalty shoot-out victory against Swindon Wildcats at MK Arena on Sunday.
Odrobny’s super show in psyching out Wildcats’ unsuccessful penalty takers – Max Birbraer, Jonas Höög and Jan Kostal – paved the way for Chamberlain to secure the win with his team’s third penalty shot attempt when he smashed the puck into the back of the net.

This coming Saturday 12th November, the Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning will play host to the ever dangerous Guildford Flames at the MK Arena (face off 7pm).
Last weekend saw the Telford Tigers extend their lead at the top of the EPL table in a double header against the Lightning. The league remains tight with just seven points separating the top three, and four points separating fourth to eighth places. With a third of the season gone already, it’s difficult to tell what can happen through the year.
