Milton Keynes Lightning logo The next meeting of the Smith Recycling MK Lightning Business Club will take place on Monday 6 March from 9.30 – 11.30am and will include the official launch of Willen Hospice’s “Blue Week”.

The Club’s inaugural meeting was a tremendous success with more than 30 representatives of local businesses coming to Planet Ice Milton Keynes to find out the benefits of taking up one of the Lightning’s bronze, silver, gold or platinum partnership packages. Olympic and World Championship badminton player Nathan Robertson was special guest speaker, telling everyone what it is about the club that he loves so much.

“The club’s not just a way of finding out about what the Lightning can offer in terms of increasing your brand’s visibility, it’s also a chance to widen your network of contacts in a professional but relaxed environment,” commented the Club’s Commercial Manager, Sarah Jane Smyth.

“We are delighted that Willen Hospice has chosen our next meeting to launch their fund raising “Blue Week”; they have been a nominated charity of the club in previous seasons so we’re very happy to be able to support them again.”

Entry to the MK Business Club meeting on 6 March is free with a donation to Willen Hospice, and Dawn Clark from the organisation will give details of how businesses can get involved with Blue Week.

English Premier League Cup Finalists MK Lightning will take to the ice at 10am with the Deputy Mayor of Milton Keynes and the team from Willen, to officially launch the event.
