“NewThe play offs are done and summer is on the way... but we all want to know what's going on in our favourite sport in the months running up to the new season. We don't get all the press releases on movements in the league and the clubs but this summer we'll be doing our best to bring you all the news that the clubs don't send to us all on once place.

(links to stories on club sites will open in a new window)

It has been a relatively quiet week on the signings front...

Peterborough Phantoms

This week the Phantoms captured ex-Slough Jets forward Ales Padelek who will be coming fresh from a season in Australia. In addition they made a point of announcing their support team for the coming season; Lee Elias returning as Player Development Coach, Rochelle Owen continues her role as Sports Injury Therapist and Scott Glenwright is the returning Equipment Manager.

Sheffield Steeldogs

Steeldogs only announcement this week is a new face to the EPL in the form of forward Craig Thurston who will also be training with the Steelers as part of a new deal with the neighbouring Elite League team.

In other news

It was a blow to the British game this past week to hear of the demise of the Elite League's Hull Stingrays, in the announcement that shocked many they cited loss of sponsorship combined with low attendance at home games... the announcement just a few hours later that the Altrincham Ice Dome, until recently the home of the Manchester Phoenix, have re-formed the Manchester Storm as a replacement team in the Elite League has received mixed reactions. It will be interesting to see what effect this has on the Phoenix and their plans for the coming year.

We will continue to update the 2015/16 rosters for all 9 EPL teams on this site as soon as we get news of any signings alongside updated rosters for previous seasons. Please keep checking back on the site for more news.
