Bracknell Bees logo The Bracknell Bees players, staff, management and volunteers would all like congratulate Tony Redmond, the ever popular veteran utility player, as in our game away at Manchester this past Sunday he racked up his 750th regular season point when he bagged an assist on the Bees second goal.

Photo suppled by Bracknell BeesIt is a truly phenomenal achievement and it is credit to “Tosh” that he is still bagging the points having iced in over 1000 senior games now (in all competitions), playing for such sides as the Glasgow Eagles, Glasgow Saints, Ayr Raiders, Basingstoke Beavers, Basingstoke Bulldogs, Basingstoke Bison, Slough Jets, Guildford Flames and of course the Bracknell Bees. He also represented Team GB at both Under 18 and Under 20 levels. He boasts League & Playoff winners medals from 1992/93 with the Basingstoke Beavers, a British League Cup winners medal from 1997/98 with the Slough Jets and also from both 1999/00 & 2000/01 – this time with the Basingstoke Bison, a BNL Playoff winners medal from 2003/04 with the Guildford Flames and an EPIHL Playoff winners medal back with the Slough Jets from 2007/08.

A leader both on and off the ice, a true team player and with a wealth of experience “Tosh” is highly respected and admired around the league and we are sure fans of other clubs around the league will join us in congratulating him on this impressive milestone.
