Bracknell Bees logo The Bracknell Bees players, staff, management and volunteers would all like congratulate the Bees Assistant Captain, popular British forward Matt Foord on recently racking up his 300th regular season Bracknell Bees appearance, having recently also played his 500th regular season EPIHL game.

Photo supplied by Bracknell BeesMatt is now third in all time Bracknell Bees appearances in all competitions behind only legendary Bees defender Matt Cote (1990-2000) and hugely popular forward Chris Brant (1994-2002). Matt recently past Rob Stewart in appearances for the Bees and ironically Rob was only back at the Hive a fortnight ago as a guest of honour. Matt’s career has also seen him ice for the Slough Jets (BNL & EPIHL), London Racers (EIHL), Cardiff Devils (EIHL), Nottingham Panthers (EIHL) & Swindon Wildcats (EPIHL) and also represent Team GB at Under 18′s level. Matt has also been Assistant Captain here at the Bees since 2011 and boasts an EPIHL League winner’s medal & EPIHL Playoff winner’s medal from the Bees 2006/07 campaign.

A better example of an unselfish team player you are unlikely to find, a true warrior whose commitment is always 100% and then more. Matt has written himself into Bees history and it is a truly fantastic achievement and shows true dedication. We are sure that not only Bees fans but fans around the league will join us in congratulating Matt on the historic milestone achievement.
