Parrish gives up on the Bees

User Rating:  / 0

There is more bad news for the struggling Berkshire club this morning as coach Dwight Parrish announces his decision to retire from hockey.

There had been several reports in the press in recent weeks that Parrish was considering his future and could not wait forever for the Bees to decide if he would be required for the upcoming season however yesterdays announcement by the club that a potential major sponsor had pulled out may have been the last straw with a Reading newspaper reporting that he has taken the decision to leave.

It would seem that Parrish, who has coached the Bees for the last 3 seasons, has decided to leave the sport and pursue a career outside of ice hockey and plans to move nearer his wife's family in Manchester.
