GB Under-18s 6-3 Croatia Under-18s

Team GB Logo Three goals in 47 seconds in the third period helped Great Britain Under-18s secure World Championship Division 2 Group A survival with a 6-3 victory over Croatia U18s.

The victory moved GB onto seven points and means Croatia have been relegated to Division 2 Group B.

Ethan James had to be sharp to make two early saves as Croatia had the game's first chances, before GB scored with their first shot on goal.

GB U18s 2-4 Romania U18s

Team GB Logo Great Britain Under-18s were undone by four goals from Andrei Vasile as they lost 4-2 to Romania Under-18s in the World Championship Division 2 Group A in Gangneung.

Despite outshooting Romania 46-18, GB had to answer to Vasile who took his tournament tally to eight goals.

GB had constant pressure in the first five minutes but were unable to find a way past Ors Adorjan, who made 44 saves in the game.

Korea Under-18s 3-2 GB Under-18s

Team GB Logo Great Britain Under-18s were beaten 3-2 by the number-one seed in the group Korea U18s at the World Championship Division 2 Group A in Gangneung.

Despite taking the lead and having a number of good chances, especially in the second period, GB could only beat Lee Jungmin twice as he turned away 28 shots.

GB went ahead on the powerplay as Liam Kirk's shot was saved and Jordan Buesa batted in the rebound for his first goal of the tournament (5:55).

GB U18s 3-1 Lithuania U18s

Team GB Logo Great Britain Under-18s picked up their first win of their World Championship Division 2 Group A campaign as they beat previously-unbeaten Lithuania Under-18s 3-1 in Gangneung.

GB netminder Ethan James turned away 24 of the 25 shots he faced in a man-of-the-match performance.

Estonia U18s 6-5 GB Under-18s (after penalty shots)

Team GB Logo Great Britain Under-18s were beaten 6-5 after penalty shots by Estonia Under-18s, despite a dramatic late equaliser from Liam Kirk with seven seconds remaining in the third period.

GB trailed 5-3 at the second intermission but Kirk scored twice to give them at least a point, before the penalty-shot heartbreak.
